This little filly was born on my birthday - her registered name will be "B-Day Son Rise". What a cutie - and so full of energy... At five days old she was pawing at the leaf of hay I had thrown in for the mare. Once she broke it up to her liking she began to nibble on the grass. I am often in awe as I watch the actions of these young foals.

This little guy was born April 3, 2017. He was so determined to get up on his feet, he struggled for fifteen minutes - falling head over heals a few times - but once he was up he never laid down for two hours. The other day when his mom wouldn't get up to feed him he stamped on the ground a few times, when that didn't work he tapped his mom on the belly with his front foot..... too funny.
So we named him "Eby" in a show of support and respect to Judi's cousins in Kitchener Ontario. Jim and Ruth are a wonderful Christian couple who operate the family owned Eby Manor Dairy. Check them out at ebymanor.ca Jim Eby bought Sundance my first Appaloosa filly back in the late '70s. SOLD
