FOR SALE or TRADE
(We may consider trades for broke horses we can use for Kid's Camp or farm equipment, motorcycle, etc.)
We at Son Rise Quarter Horses have worked diligently to breed for excellent dispositions. We are striving to produce foals with great conformation. We breed them to be working ranch life partners, with proven bloodlines. The "Chrome" and "Color" variations are added bonuses. They are well rounded easy to train, quick learners. We are very particular as to who we sell our foals to, our foals are well cared for and we expect them to go to good homes.
Testimonies from some of the folk that bought horses from us....
Danielle Patry sent us these pictures of the weanling "Smoke" she bought from us last year. She said, "I just wanted to show you how unbelievably beautiful this young man is. I literally walked out into the field last month with a halter and within 10-15 minutes had it on him for the first time and walked him back to the house." He isn't even a year old yet.
Daniell also bought Tuxedo and here is what she says about him: "He's amazing. He is the sweetest horse we own. I think he will eventually become one of the kid's horses. He has such a lovely and sweet temperament."

We are so happy to have an excellent QH Breeder in our neighbourhood. Not only has he very good quality horses, but also some rescues from time to time. Ed and Judy are passionate, very patient and provide excellent horsemanship.
The first horse we bought from them was a ½ year old filly. We got to know “Gracie” since she was only 2 days old and fell in love with her. When we could take her over, she was halter broke and very friendly with people. She could build up a very good confidence in human beings and is easy to train.
The second horse, “Jake”, is a 6 year old gelding, well broke as trail horse and good for pulling a wagon too. We never had an issue with this horse and he is very willing in every terrain and easy to ride. This horse has a 100% safe character.
Finally, we were looking for another horse to replace an old mare that passed away on our place last winter. It was no question, where to look for our new horse. Ed and Judy rescued a young mare 2 years ago and it seemed that “Gidget” was just the right horse for us. Like the 2 others, she was able to build up trust in people and got trained very well. She is safe for my 6 year old daughter, no problem with the farrier and very patient and quiet.
We can only recommend buying a horse at their Ranch. Buying a horse from them means good deals for good horses and you won’t be disappointed.

Hi Ed and Judy,
It was nice talking to you tonight. I'm sending you some winter pictures of the girls. There not great but you can see how much alike they are. Cola is not only a marvelous mom to her filly but to children as well. Her gentle nature has been instrumental in helping four children with varying degrees of Autism to have positive break throughs. She's has touched all those that meet her. However; our beginning was one of suspicion, distrust and distance. She would pin her ears while I haltered her and hesitantly comply. After weeks of gentle contact, persistence and patience she's become a different horse. Now, she helps other release from their mistrust and distance. I believe its safe to say she's become a friend of mine.
A parent offered $10,000 for her. Maybe I'm crazy but ...naaaaa to me she's priceless.*
Nova has the same gentleness and playfulness fillies and colts all have. She isn't shy with people and provokes giggles and smiles from children that were said couldn't show emotion. I'm a true believer of horse therapy. The proof is grazing in my pasture. Thanks Ed and Judy for finding this jewel
